Bold palettes and intricate patterns are a definite must when
redecorating this spring. Try refreshing a look with energizing colour pops, juxtaposing tones, savory avant-garde designs and unconventional hues that
will have you falling in love with your decor all over again.
Refresh Your Sleeping Grounds
In the design world, creating a soothing ambiance doesn’t
have to be difficult. Narrow down colour selections by choosing two palettes
that refresh and relax a room’s overall feel. Try floral patterns in cappuccino
and mocha. These hues are perfect companions and create a harmonious duet
within any living space.
Just Run with It ...
Hallway runners can look elegant and casual. How? Select
contrasting colours such as dark chocolate or black and light taupe. The dark might intimidate, but it
adds a high contrast when placed against the taupe that balances and
compliments the bold tone.
Feel Blue … in a Good Way
Basic black’s a bore. Stay true to your dark side with Indigo.
This innately masculine aesthetic can hit a design chord with anyone who wants a low-key, yet contemporary look. Indigo, as a colour, is versatile and as an
unconventional spring shade it can truly bring modernity to a room and
transform its overall look. To add a much needed hit of colour choose a rug or linens that’s softens this dark hue.
Cranberry Crush
Colour a room pretty with a berry blast that salutes spring. Elements that balance this intense colour are
neutrals such as white or beige. To add
depth to this flashy dye, texturize with a shaggy rug in a subdued shade. The powerful regal red compliments the lacklustre neutral tone and having two sophisticated
palettes excites and testifies your true love for cranberry.
Bring ‘Green’ Home
Let Mother Nature guide you in your colour quest by
simplifying with a neutral-grey-than hit it with a colour pop of orange tangerine. The
grey grounds as a subdued shade and balances a lively garden or
cushion. Pair this avant-garde look with chic eco-friendly flooring and give your backyard a much needed lift while reducing your carbon footprint.*

Thanks so much for sharing this. I just moved into a new house and have greatly considered getting some hallway runners so there isn't just floor. They could really improve the looks of the place this way.
